Request an engine

Log a request for a spare engine from Rolls‑Royce TotalCare® as you do today. Rolls‑Royce validates your request and submits a lease instruction to Aether.

Engine delivery

Aether selects a suitable engine, issues an industry standard lease agreement and delivers the related records through TRES‑Aviation.

Engine return

You signal the return and we manage the process through our TRES‑Aviation system. Customers are already using this platform and are delighted with its efficiency.

Daniel Player

Dan is a natural business leader who builds trust quickly with customers. Before taking the helm at Aether, he served with the Royal Air Force and subsequently held several customer management positions within Rolls-Royce. He manages Aether’s operations with precision, pulling the team together to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Richard Leivers

Focused on maintaining the quality of our engines, Richard takes a rigorous and organised approach, leading the team that manages the servicing and storage of our engines. Prior to Aether he spent 10 years working in the Rolls-Royce leasing team. He also ensures the optimisation of Aether’s digital tools and acts as Dan’s deputy in his absence.

Harry Phillips

Harry brings broad legal expertise and aviation asset leasing experience to the team from his previous roles with Clifford Chance LLP and BOC Aviation. He leads the Aether contracting team which manages the important task of ensuring the smooth delivery of engines to airlines whilst protecting the interests of engine owners. Customers will benefit from his detailed knowledge of industry contract terms and practices.
